With a renewed focus on lower minimums and speed-to-market, this event promises a unique opportunity to enhance collections for Spring/Summer 2024 and beyond

Coming to New York on September 19-21, 2023, at the Jacob Javits Center, SOURCING at MAGIC New York will feature an international and domestic collection of manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers, with a highlighted focus on specialization in low MOQs, on-demand production, and quick turn replenishment, as well as sustainably verified solutions and products. As the industry enters a new season, this event provides brands, retailers, and business owners with opportunities to rethink their supply chain with sustainability in mind, minimize overstock, and create more efficient production timelines.

ELEVATED PRODUCT ASSORTMENT

Organized on the show floor by category, SOURCING at MAGIC’s East Coast edition will feature a curated variety of contemporary categories within apparel and footwear, along with fabric & trim and packaging solutions. VP of Events at SOURCING at MAGIC, Andreu David, shares, “SOURCING at MAGIC New York is all about speed to market and partnering with elevated manufacturers who cater to lower minimums.”

Co-located with COTERIE New York – the advanced contemporary and contemporary women’s market event, and MAGIC New York – which features trend and young contemporary women’s collections, Andreu continues, “Exhibitors presented in September’s edition work with top brands such as CK, Ralph Lauren, Ted Baker, Hugo Boss, and Massimo Dutti, making the co-location of SOURCING at MAGIC complementary to the elevated, better contemporary market at COTERIE New York.”

SUSTAINABILITY FOCUS

In a time where sustainability is paramount – both for consumers as well as the fashion industry at large - SOURCING at MAGIC is proud to continue its commitment in bringing eco-conscious discussions and sustainable solutions to the forefront of its events. Beyond the overall smaller carbon footprint that just-in-time manufacturing and near-shoring can offer brands and designers, the event will once again collaborate with Hey Social Good (HSG) to verify exhibitors' sustainability and social good strategies through its verified exhibitor’s program – a program now in its third season for SOURCING at MAGIC.

In addition to the verified exhibitor program, the three-day event will feature daily programming focused on topics surrounding sustainability such as “The Beginning and End of a Product’s Lifecycle: A Fiber’s Role in Circularity,” featuring expert panelists Uddhav Bagrodia, Co-Founder & President of Wastewear Inc., and Camille Tagle, Co-Founder of FABSCRAP, and “The New Era of Fashion: Injecting Sustainability in Your Brand’s Roadmap,” featuring Michelle Gabriel, Graduate Program Director, Sustainable Fashion from Glasgow Caledonian New York College, in addition to many more.
